GIVEAWAY #1: "The Princess Bride" DVD
We have a winner in our very first WTSWF Giveaway.
Congratulations to Jeff of Agoura Hills, CA.
Jeff wrote some spectacularly nice things about not only the website, but the movie project itself - and I think some of them were even sincere!
Jeff, your free DVD of "THE PRINCESS BRIDE" is in the mail.
Enjoy...
...but beware the fire swamp!
Todd
P.S. Here were the "Todd Comments" for this DVD:
Unlike most of the DVD's I'll be giving away on this site, "THE PRINCESS BRIDE" is a movie I actually liked. It's not as good as the book, which you should check out (if there's anyone Out There who still reads books), but it has the considerable advantage of having been adapted by its author, William Goldman. Who also happens to be one of the most revered screenwriters around ("Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid"). He also wrote one of the very first books on screenwriting, "Adventures in The Screen Trade" (highly recommended) back before Samuel French had an entire wall of them. It was published the year I decided to become a screenwriter.
One last thing, also unlike most DVD's I'll be giving away on this site - which will have been viewed exactly once (by me) - I ended up with an extra copy of "THE PRINCESS BRIDE" by mistake, which means this one will arrive at the address of your choosing in its original shrink wrap. Score!
